Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship

 

What is Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship? A a program that will cover the details on how to make a marketing, production, management and financial plans which will all be incorporated into a business plan at the end of the course.

The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship is a business-mentoring class wherein aside from the resource speakers from LCCB, NEDf and DTI,  there will be visiting entrepreneurs who will be tapped to share their experiences.   Angelpreneurs will also be assigned to help monitor the progress / coach  the students’ businesses during its implementation stage (April-July).

Who are qualified to join this program? Start-up entrepreneurs who would like to be guided on how they can improve their business.  At the end of the program, they will be expected to implement their expansion plan.

Potential entrepreneurs who are serious about putting up a business.  These students should be ready (financially at least) to implement or start the business of their choice during the program proper, based on the business plan they will make.  At the end of the program,  students have to present how they were able to implement their business plan and what their next steps will be.

Why  Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship?? The whole program is equivalent to 12 credit units in the event graduates enroll in LCCB’s MBA Major in Entrepreneurship.  They will be given at least 20% discount on total fees and there will be no need for them to attend classes.

Where will we enroll? Enrollment can either be at the second floor of the college building of La Consolacion College Bacolod or at the Negros Economic Development Foundation, Inc. at 6th Street.  Application Forms will also be available at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) office and at the Negosyo Center.

How much is the program fee? Down payment is P5,000.00 which will be paid upon enrollment.  Total fee is P12,000.00 which will include simple snacks and lunch during class days.  An additional of P2,000 will be paid at the end of February, March, April, and the remaining P1,000 will be paid at the end of May.

Class Days and Venue? Every Tuesdays and Thursdays (except for Feb. 17) from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 or a total of 6 hours per meeting.  Venue will either be at the  Negosyo Center (former KADIWA) or at the NEDF Conference Room.
