ServSafe Food Safety Course is finally coming to Bacolod!
ServSafe Food Protection Manager’s Certification Course will be offered by the Negrense Food Consultancy Group/Association of Negros Producers- Foundation for Enterprise Development Inc (ANP-FEDI) for the first time in Bacolod City. It will be held on April 2-7, 2018 at Go Hotel, Robinson’s Place. ServSafe is a U.S.-based food safety course accredited by the American National Standards Institute- Conference for Food Protection. The course and certificates are strictly administered by the U.S. National Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
The course will cover food safety modules for hotels, restaurants, food service and hospitality students, professionals and business owners. The course is usually administered in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao so having it here in Bacolod is a big savings cost for the participant and is comparable to the online course.
The 16-hour (2 days) training program is going to be taught by a ServSafe Certified Instructor and Food Safety Science Research Specialist and Microbiologist. This is followed by a comprehensive “multiple choice” examination on Day 3 aimed to gain INTERNATIONAL manager certification which is valid for FIVE years. Having a ServSafe certification is a big boost to one’s employment opportunities especially if one is planning to apply for employment in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries.
Two sessions are available. Session One is from April 2-4 and Session Two is from April 5-7. Slots are limited to only 25 participants per session so interested parties are encouraged to reserve soon before seats fill up. Course fee including examination and US certificate (once exam is passed) is only P8,500 until March 22. Regular fee is P9,000 afterward until March 31.
